Why we haven’t cured cancer in 2012

June 11th, 2012 · 2 Comments

Wanted to share this infographic on cancer survival rates and how we keep living longer after initial diagnosis (wish it was for 2012, but it’s a little older thanks to delayed data). What I am more curious about is cancer cures. How many people have actually beaten cancer and end up living cancer free the rest of their life? That’s a true statistic that I would like to hear. For now, this will do. Hope you gain some valuable insight out of this.

If the world community cannot unite to find cancer cure now, then we shall not continue to spend billions of dollars on research around the world. What on earth our scientists have achieved during the past 6 decades! And what on earth is the role of World Health Organisation! Fancy reports and luxury international conferences have not yet solved the problems of curing the Cancer disease.

All talking is merely a waste of time. Perhaps we may start planning to use the money in areas like health, education and/or feeding the poor children’s globally.
